1800 Anejo Tequila, 70cl
Jose Cuervo Anejo 1800 is an exceptional offering for one of our favourite tequila distilleries. Aged for over a year and selective french oak casks, each bottle of this tequila has been prepared to perfection. The aroma is rich in roasted coconut, toffee and woody floral depth. This leads into a flavour which is equally woody, with the spice coming through in the form of cracked black pepper. The endnote is dry yet immensely satisfying, wonderful for sipping at leisure.
1800 Reposado Tequila, 70cl
Jose Cuervo reposado 1800 is a further edition to the 1800 series of tequilas from Jose Cuervo. Rested for just six months in American and French oak casks, this tequila is a bittersweet, light offering which is exceptionally easy to drink. Light coconut and vanilla flavours come through in the nose with spicy pepper and cinnamon coming through too. The taste begins sweetly, with butterscotch taking centre stage but then leading into familiar notes of vanilla and charred vegetables.
1800 Silver Tequila, 70cl
Jose cuervo blanco 1800 is a 100% agave tequila which rests in ex-american whisky casks and benefits from the depths of both the oak and the whiskey flavours coming through. Chargrilled vegetables and celery notes come through in the nose which then leads into a flavour which allows the agave to take centre stage. Light and delicate, the agave is surrounded by the smokiness of the vegetable flavours and a light peppering of spice. Herbaceous and rounded to the final sip.

Amaro Averna, 70cl
Averna is an authentic Italian after-dinner liqueur, known as amaro or digestivo (bitter or digestif) in Italy, created according to a closely guarded secret recipe originating in the Benedictine abbey of Caltanissetta, Sicily in 1868.
The link between the territory and the drink is clear. The deep brown, red-golden tint of Averna evokes memories of the warm Sicilian atmosphere. The citrus tones that come through are reminiscent of Sicily’s famous oranges and lemons and even the label, with its ochre hue, is carefully selected to replicate that of the sandstone typical of the Caltanissetta region.

Amer picon is a sweet orange-based liqueur which is usually served as an aperitif or mixed with wine, which may sound a little strange but you’ve got to try it to find out. Amer picon has bittersweet notes and includes quinine, gentian and cinchona in addition to the citrus flavours. Amer picon is most regularly found in cocktails, including wheat beer cocktails and simply blended with soft drink/mixer/mixers. The sweetness of the orange has a bitter edge provided by the botanicals.

Ardbeg is another Scottish single malt of much worth. Straight from cask to bottle, Ardbeg offers a unique flavour which is different from others from regions. Tree bark, peat and vanilla fudge aromas are first to escape and on tasting a burst of smokiness, sea salt and sweet aniseed vanilla hit the palate. Honeyed notes help to mellow it out but it’s the smoky peat flavour which lingers on.

Ardbeg Uigeadail takes its name from the Scottish Gaelic word for ‘dark and mysterious place’ which is also the loch from which Ardbeg gets its water. Ardbeg pride themselves on a range of unique quality malts and Uigeadail doesn’t let the team down. The aroma is a rich mixture of peat, dark sugar, espresso beans and a hint of deep tar. The flavour is led by sweeter notes, with ripe fruit and honey coming through first with just a touch of malt, all the while supported by that lingering peat. Caramel and malt find a place in the lingering finish, adding warmth and sweetness to the peat.

Auchentoshan 3 Wood Whisky, 70cl
Auchentoshan three wood is lowland single malt that spends time matured in three different casks. Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, oloroso casks and bourbon casks have the pleasure of playing a role in the maturation of this exceptional malt. The maturation process involves moving the whisky from a traditional oak whisky cask to a Spanish oak sherry cask, adding more depth to its flavour and creating its warm, rounded character. Sweet fruit and sherry notes are apparent in its scent and the taste is mellow for a single malt, the sherry at work once more, with nuttiness and cinnamon notes building too.

The endnote is rich with sticky marmalade notes and a final whisper of smoke.

Don Julio 1942 Tequila, 70cl
Don julio anejo 1942 spends up to two and half year ageing, nearly enough to be classed as extra anejo. It’s stilled in a single pot still and has the wonderful spiced aromas of cinnamon, sweet agave, vanilla and interesting turkish delight. The taste is deep with cinder toffee notes, the continual flavour of the agave and bursts of sweet, zesty citrus. Dry and nutty the finish is long with notes of smoke.
Don Julio Anejo Tequila, 70cl
Don Julio Anejo is another exceptional offering from the recognisable tequila distillery. This product spends up to 2 years in former bourbon casks, giving it a deep golden appearance. The flavour is rich with zest, both grapefruit and lime coming through strongly in the nose with lighter hints of marzipan and tea. The flavour is candy sweet with a honey-like viscosity and a reappearance of those tea flavours, now paired with that classic tequila flavour of charred vegetables. With a couple of awards under its belt el dorado, 3-year rum is a fine example of a mixing rum which a crispness that lends itself to sharp citrus cocktails and even exotic punches. Coconut is ever-present from the first opening and hints of sugary sweet icing sugar are also apparent in the nose. On drinking, el dorado is surprisingly dry with notes of intense brown sugar, a nutty edge and of course that coconut coming through strongly. The ends note blends vanilla with the coconut for a fresh finish.

This ageing process helps to show off the quality of the casks which have been used and really show off its character, making it perfect to be enjoyed one sip at a time.
ILEGAL JOVEN TEQUILA, 70CL
This unaged and ‘young’ mezcal does not have contact with any oak barrels (much like Blanco in the Tequilla category) and is bottled somewhat soon after distillation. Because there is no ageing process for this expression, this is certainly more fruit-focused than the aged mezcals within the category and is a carefully composed blend of sweet and smoke.
ILEGAL REPOSADO TEQUILA, 70CL
This is lightly aged for four months in oak barrels before bottling which helps to open and round this beautifully crafted example of a rested ‘Reposado’. This ageing process helps to draw out those beautiful notes of vanilla and spice but with a gentle undertone of smokiness that balances really well, that is less than that of its younger sibling. As a result, the smoke integrates exquisitely that creates a medium-bodied mezcal with those sweet highlights.

As far as the flavour goes it’s sultry, with a real coastal feel and has notes of sweet vanilla, strong oak and spicy chilli there too. It ends dryly, inviting you to give it another sip.
Laphroaig Quarter Cask Whisky, 70cl
Laphroaig quarter cask was released in 2004 to much esteem. Youthful compared to other offerings it’s a highly commendable malt which still has a bold, enticing flavour despite its young age. Oily and butter-rich on the nose, toffee, nuts and hickory smoke come through measuredly. The palate gives a bold hit of sweetness with fiery chilli heat coming through quickly in pursuit, medicinal freshness, chewy cereals and even a hint of cola also follow.
Leblon Cachaça, 70cl
Named for a well-known region of Rio, Leblon cachaça looks like any other white rum or vodka but its flavour tells a different story. Its nose is a borderline combination of sugar sweetness and zesty citrus and is reminiscent of a good rum and a slice of lime. On drinking, you’ll enjoy an initial hit of that limey citrus soon followed by strong rum-like flavours tempered down by sugar cane sweetness. Leblon is harsh on the palate but not overwhelmingly so and is a great alternative to your average white rum in a daiquiri.

MarGin’s founder Rachel Verghis is a former banker, passionate art collector and a gin sipping enthusiast. Inspired by an article about an artist who commissioned a perfumer to recreate the scent of the dollar bill, she embarked upon her own quest to create a premium spirit imbued with the quintessence of a banknote.
On that quest she chanced upon the ‘white fiver’—the first fully printed five pound note issued by the Bank of England in 1793. Struck by the elegance and heritage of this iconic note, Rachel saw the perfect union of liquid and label for her artisanal gin brand.

Oban 14yr Whisky, 70CL
A west highland malt of real esteem, this 14-year-old Oban is traditional in its flavour but this isn’t something to overlook. Rich and smoky on the nose, this Oban has a medicinal flavour about it, with notes of the sea, coast and seaweed all coming through together. Smooth sweetness is offered up by citrus-infused vanilla but it’s the medicinal notes which truly make this a memorable dram.

Ocho 8 Plata is a limited edition silver tequila which is refreshing and clean on the nose. Cedar, mint and spice all come through and there’s a satisfying earthiness to this tequila and your taste. Pepper and mint work in tandem to deliver hot and cool hits of flavour and they also work alongside the sweetness offered by agave and hints of raspberry. The finish lingers with those raspberry notes at the centre but still a whisper of that spicy pepper too.

Vegetal notes come through in the flavour of red peppers and are teamed with citrus. It’s a vegetal tequila which is light, enjoyable and subtle to the end.

Olmeca Altos Reposado Tequila, 70cl
Olmeca Altos reposado spends a little longer being aged than other Olmeca tequilas, with 18 months in 200-litre white American ex-bourbon casks. It retains a super sweet and fresh flavour with its aroma packed full of bright fruitiness, notes of strawberry and cherry. The woody smokiness from the casks is apparent and is brought out even further when you take a sip. Slightly sweet honey comes through alongside the smokiness and the aftertaste is long, powerful and memorable.

Patron Anejo is treated with the same delicate nurturing process as a good wine. Young and sprightly, Patron Silver is the youngest of their tequilas and its flavour reflects its youth. English through and through Pimm's, no 1 was invented in the city of London and spicy undertones lift them natural fruitiness even further.
Pink Pepper Gin, 70cl
A Pink Pepper Gin from French producers Audemus, situated in the heart of Cognac. Made with hand-picked pink peppercorns and a handful of other tasty botanicals (including honey, vanilla and cardamom - all of which are macerated separately then distilled under low pressure and temperature). You'll find a good juxtaposition between sweet and spicy notes in this one.
Pink Pigeon Rum, 70cl
A rare spiced rum with a memorable name, the pink pigeon is not a drink you’ll forget in a hurry. One of Mauritius’ finer offerings, a bird native to isle is where it gets its name. Warming custard notes are released on opening the bottle and they’re soon followed by sweet icing sugar, buttery croissant and even strawberries. On drinking the sweetness remains and vanilla and nutmeg spice also come through, with a fieriness developing as you sip.

There’s raspberry on the nose as the juniper comes through and then a slight spice that develops and lingers. Whilst we’re purposefully different to most gins, but a healthy dose of juniper, in fact twice as much as regular gin, ensures that our gently prevalent raspberry scent is accompanied by that customary dryness.

Aba pisco is a prized chilean creation which is produced using a double distillation method in copper pot stills. perfect for chile’s favourite pisco sour cocktail, aba utilises the fresh, juicy grapes of the muscat variety, grown in the chilean andes. Crystal clear and exceptionally flavoured, aba pisco offers the taste of jasmine flowers, sweet honey and tangerine creating a flavour which is soft on the palate and syrupy sweet.

Plantation 3 Stars white rum 41.2% is the first white rum from a plantation. It's a blend of rums from Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica (which just so happen to be three of our favourite rum producing islands).
Plantation 5yr Rum, 70cl
A classic Barbadian rum, plantation 5-year-old benefits from ex-bourbon cask barrels and cognac barrels used in its maturation process. The flavour this delivers is unlike any other rum and gives its nose an intense leathery profile with spicy cinnamon and aromatic coconut too. On tasting Plantation 5 is surprisingly sweet with clear notes of molasses and that leathery depth from the scent. Salted butter and allspice add a distinguishing finish and ensure the fire remains strong to the last drop.

Portobello Gin, 70cl
Named for its place of conception, portobello London dry gin no. 171 is a classic London gin with all the characteristics of a premium product. Floral notes pour out of the bottle on opening with lavender and camphor at the forefront. Parma Violet sweetness follows and on tasting, you’ll get the first hint of juniper. The citrus notes often found in abundance in other gins are subdued but their essence is in the background and it’s a little spicier than your average gin, without being overwhelming. Pussers Blue Label Rum, 70cl
Blended accordingly to specifications set out by the British admiralty, Pusser's rum is a genuinely classic flavour. Bringing together rums from Barbados, Guyana, Trinidad and Jamaica, Pusser's is a real classic. Treacle, toffee and molasses aromas are released and combine wonderfully with cinnamon-spied oak and ginger. The flavour is strong yet mellow and includes notes of toffee and espresso in addition to those in the nose. The depth of flavour in Pusser's come from the bitter oaky notes which are present throughout.

With a bottle design reminiscent of those kept by Captains in the 19th century and instruction from the makers not to even consider mixing it with anything but ice, Pyrat xo is a genuine premium rum. Combining rums aged for as many as fifteen years, Pyrat xo is sweet and viscous on the palate, offering comforting marmalade sweetness. The orange flavour is tempered by sweeter, sugary notes and a medicinal edge reminiscent of cough drops. A truly exceptional rum which should be sipped at leisure.

No, there hasn’t been an accident it’s supposed to look like that! the distinctive asymmetrical bottle that r.l. seale’s finest rum is delivered in is just one of its many great perks. Matured in ex-madeira and ex-brandy cases this rum is awash with welcomingly sweet flavours as well as spiced notes. Spicy cooking apples are surrounded by notes of freshly baked pastry, cinnamon and nutmeg leading into a long and satisfying end of toffee apple and oak.

Redwood Empire is a distillery out of California. Lost Monarch is a blend of bourbon and rye, aged for no less than 3 years. The blend is 60% rye whiskey (95% rye, 5% malted barley which was aged between 3-5 years) and 40% bourbon whiskey (75% corn, 21% raw rye and 4% malted barely that was aged between 5-12 years). Redwood Empire included some of their own distillate in the mix, which is why the age statement is fairly low. This expression is named after the world’s largest coast redwood by volume, standing at 320 feet tall and 26 feet in diameter.

Rinquinquin A La Peche, 75cl
Rinquinquin à la pêche is made using three different types of peach - Cardinale, coronet and June gold. As if this wasn't enough peach for you, they also used the leaves from peach trees, harvests just before autumn. The leaves and peaches are all macerated separately in alcohol and white wine. Afterwards, the liquid is added to the white wine, while the solids leftover is distilled and added to the mix. Perfect for a summer aperitif, rinquinquin à la pêche goes well with tonic water or served long and over ice. The terms rinquinquin was originally a generic word. In the Provencal language, it means invigorating drink (from the verb requinquilhar: to cheer up).

TOKI JAPANESE WHISKY, 70CL
Basil, green apple and honey on the nose, on the palate there is grapefruit, green grapes, peppermint and thyme the finish is subtly sweet and a spicy finish with a hint of vanilla oak white pepper and ginger.
Trois Rivières Blanc, 70cl
Trois rivieres hides a lot of flavour in its crystal clear body. Punchy and awash with tangy notes, it is still smooth and is a great aLtrernative choice for your classic mojito or daiquiri. Fresh peaches, plums and pears come through in the nose and its high abv means once you sip you get the full depth of flavour in a single sucker punch. Despite its punchiness there is elegance to this rum and citrus and grassy notes come through to support the strength.
Tullamore Dew Whisky, 70cl
Tullamore dew is one of those famous Irish whiskies we all know and love. Classic flavour notes come through, with fruit and malt taking centre stage. Caramel and toffee soon follow and deliver added sweetness and warmth. Bitter fruit peel is balanced against the honeyed notes, vanilla and a herbal depth which really adds more character to the drink. If you were wondering why it’s called dew, it’s simply the initials of the Tullamore distillery’s manager at the time!

Finished in first-fill Caribbean rum casks which previously held Demerara rum. Leading it to have a nose with lots of tropical banana and mango alongside buttery caramel finished on the palate with a prickle of aromatic spice.
Vecchia Romagna, 70cl
Osborne’s 103 white label brandy is a classic brandy de jerez and aged in casks formerly used for sherry, adding a distinctly Spanish flavour to the drink. A young brandy, 103 brings together both the flavours of the Spanish grapes and stronger fruity notes which are brought out during the maturation process. A slight hint of oak ensures the essence of a traditional brandy but with a lightness that makes it popular for long drinks and cocktails.
Velho Barreiro Cachaça, 70cl
One of brazil’s favourite cachaça, Velho Barreiro is delicate on the nose but powerful earthy tones come through when you sip. Ripe marrow and fresh orchard fruit aromas are all present in the nose but when enjoyed neat the flavour is crisp and clean, with a rounded flavour profile which once again allows the sweet vegetal notes to shine. This also applies when you add it to your favourite exotic cocktail, unsurprisingly a perfect partner for the other essential ingredients in a caipirinha.

Del maguey Vida Mezcal is 100% organic and made by hand. This extra care and attention deliver a natural flavour, unblended and surprisingly complex. Smokiness and warmth comes through in this mezcal, with peppery notes mellowed by a caramel honey depth. It’s wonderful if you’re mixing or sipping and the aroma, heavy with fruity aromatics, will draw you in on first opening. The finish is long, soft, delicate and above all else, entices you to try another sip.

Warner Edwards exceptional gin has been in a new direction with the addition of summery elderflower. relax into your sunny afternoons with freshly elderflower infused gin, which works beautifully with your favourite tonic water, lemon or lime and the wonderful essence of harrington dry gin. Warner Edwards use only home-grown elderflower, from wales and England to create this summer aperitif that is massively satisfying, refreshing and light. The hardest question will be whether you choose lime or lemon to complement the flavours.
Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin, 70cl
The queen victoria rhubarb has gone from queen victoria’s buckingham palace garden, in the 1800's, to being grown on crown estate property in the 2000's. the farm where it is now grown is a crown estate previously owned by the current grower, who farms it to this day. this rhubarb has always been grown in the traditional victorian kitchen garden style, having lots of organic matter to nourish it. it has not been grown commercially with artificial fertiliser and chemical sprays, so over the years the flavour can be greatly improved. we use ‘curiosity’ to soften the plant and then extract the juice through traditional pressing methods. the fabulous liquid is combined with our global award winning harrington dry gin and just enough sugar to balance the acidity. the resuLtr is a rumbustious gin with a big burst of rhubarb which is a glory on its own and beautiful with either tonic or ginger ale.
Westerhall No2 White Rum, 70cl
Westerhall No.2 has been double distilled and aged in plain oak casks for two years to achieve a smooth and mellow balance. The No.2 is a light rum with a sweet flavour that comes in at 37.5% ABV. The rum is diluted with the purist of Grenadian spring water before being charcoal filtered for absolute clarity.

Wild Turkey 101 Whisky, 70cl
Wild turkey 101 has been aged for eight years at a much higher proof than they’re traditional bourbon. This delivers a more intense, alcohol-heavy nose but also a deeper, more complex flavour. You wouldn’t know it from the nose as it’s light and unassuming but once you sip you’ll taste the depth of sweetness within this bourbon alongside the toasty alcohol burn. The character of Kentucky is strong in this one, wild turkey’s deep amber hues owe their colouring to the heaviest charred oak barrels around. The barrels are newer than your traditional bourbon style and result in the flavour of wild turkey being stronger and encapsulated in the barrels, without any flavour being cooked out. Warm hues and a warming flavour, the wild turkey is exceptionally smooth and satisfying, the flavours a little subdued but butterscotch coming through in the end. Rich and indulgent, wild turkey stands out amongst other bourbons.

Wood's 100 Navy, 70cl
A classic demerara navy style rum produced in guyana, wood’s 100 blends together a range of young rums. both pot still and continuously distilled rums make their way into the mix and it’s a distinct flavour that’s often used in tiki-style cocktails. prunes, caramel and sweet toffee are the first aromas released on opening and they’re soon joined by nutmeg and cinnamon spiciness. dark chocolate and fudge come through but the spiciness is the flavour that endures.

Wyborowa Vodka, 70cl
Clean polish vodka that holds its own. Bread and butter with dried apple and lemon zest on entry. crushed grains then take over with deep spicy overtones. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied and the finish is both flinty and pepper driven. This is really very good for the price and remains a favourite of the polish, who seem to drink cauldrons of it every weekend.
XOriguer, 70cl
A spanish gin that is one of only two gins in the world with its own EU designation of origin, Xorigeur is based on an 18th century recipe and was popular with the sailors at that time. The green handled bottle makes it stand out from the crowd but it’s the perfumed flavour and orange-rich character which really make this gin sing. A grape alcohol base gives it a juicy flavour which is peppered with bright herbaceous and spicy notes. Fresh, almost menthol juniper ends each sip, lingering as a quenching aftertaste.
Yamazaki 12yr Whisky, 70cl
Yamazaki 12-year-old is probably the most famous Japanese whisky there is. an exceptional single malt, it was one of the first seriously marketed offerings from japan to reach the rest of the world. Intensely enjoyable and rich with nut oils and citrus zest, Yamazaki 12-year-old is smooth in the mouth with biting winter spice providing that classic whisky flavour, with the fruity notes ensuring a rounded finish. Zacapa 23yr, 70cl
Guatemalan ron zacapa rum includes a wide range of exceptional flavours which work together in perfect harmony. zacapa black label is a 23 year aged rum and its nose is rich with banana, maraschino cherry, caramelised fruit and roasted chestnuts. these flavours then come through strongly when you sip, combined with sweet molasses and smoky wood. hints at chilli chocolate lead into a long finish, deep with toasted nuts and spices.

A truly exceptional guatamalan rum, zacapa centenario xo is a premium offering which doesn’t disappoint when it comes to flavour. beautifully delicate, the flavour of zacapa centenario xo is matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks which together deliver a flavour which is exceptionally sweet and sugary, without being sickly. the softness on the palate of this mature rum is surprising and very welcome, with only a hint of smoke coming through in the finish.
Zubrowka Vodka, 70cl
Excellent and original grass and herb driven vodka. Opens up with freshly mowed grass and green apple notes. These move through into deep yet balanced and complexed herbal notes followed by waves of hay and green apple. The finish is grassy, clean and almost refreshing with a soft lime and herb bite that fades into apples. Best served from the fridge and tastes fantastic with freshly pressed apple juice.
