MarGin London Dry Gin
MarGin’s founder Rachel Verghis is a former banker, passionate art collector and a gin sipping enthusiast. Inspired by an article about an artist who commissioned a perfumer to recreate the scent of the dollar bill, she embarked upon her own quest to create a premium spirit imbued with the quintessence of a banknote.
On that quest she chanced upon the ‘white fiver’—the first fully printed five pound note issued by the Bank of England in 1793. Struck by the elegance and heritage of this iconic note, Rachel saw the perfect union of liquid and label for her artisanal gin brand.
And so MarGin was born; a classic London dry gin, a tipple as cool, crisp and uncomplicated as a freshly printed ‘white fiver’, to be savoured like a smooth single malt or fine Cognac.

Tasting Notes
Crisp and elegant on the nose, with plenty of pine, juniper and fine citrus notes supported by an intriguing selection of very subtle spices and herbs. It is a focused and neat expression with the cooling effect of the juniper highlighted beautifully. It has a nicely balanced, light and elegant set of aromas.
Dry and silky on the palate with a lovely zesty note supporting the cooling juniper and pine. It has a touch of richness to it on the finish, but it stays very elegant and restrained.
A delightful and versatile expression that works perfectly with classic Indian tonic water. The slightly higher, more premium alcohol level is beautifully integrated, and it works very well.
