About this product

Lot No. 40 is a rich and fruity Canadian whisky with plenty of winter spice flavours, crafted in a unique way using 100% rye grains to showcase the true flavours and complexities of Rye Whisky from Canada. It was designed in 1998 by then Master Blender Michael Booth based on whisky made in early Canada by his 7th generation forefather Joshua Booth. When Joshua immigrated to Canada, the plot of land that was given to him was lot number forty, hence the name.  Lot no 40 is aged in new, charred American oak and shows notes of rye bread, pepper and soft spice along with rich vanilla, elegant citrus and ripe orchard fruits. It can be enjoyed neat or in classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
