Somerset Cider Brandy 3yr, 70cl

A wonderfully blended and nurtured brandy, three barrels combines the traditional flavours we all know and love and adds a twist. Three barrels are a blend of selected Eaux de vie from famous french wine regions and it has been handcrafted and matured in French oak barrels, delivering the smooth taste and touches of both candied sweet fruits and hot, spicy ginger. The spicy notes are mellowed by the sweetened fruit and nuttier notes of walnut and almond also help to deliver the perfect balance.

Snow Queen Vodka, 70cl

One of the rare 100% pot still rums out there, smith & cross is a Jamaican favourite which allows tropical fruity flavours to define its character. A hit of pineapple is your first hint at the flavours within and the nose develops with further spicier notes of clove, pepper and intriguing hot chilli. On tasting, you’ll enjoy a warm, buttery opening which bursts into a fiery chilli-based heat, peppered with cinnamon and clove. This heat is tempered by balancing vanilla and muscovado sugar notes, bringing smith & cross to a mellower endnote.

This one is bursting with clean mineral and lemon notes. Sweet grain notes appear followed by soft lemon curd. These fade into a white pepper and lime zest finish that still retains the aforementioned flinty mineral notes. Very clean and well put together vodka; sadly often overlooked.

Lemon and strawberry slush puppies flavours on first taste followed by waves of Umbongo and African passion fruit flavours. The kick is tart and wrapped in more lemon slush puppies and passion fruit. The finish is short, sweet and to the point.

Skipper Rum, 70cl

Full-bodied and packed with deep brown sugar notes, the skipper is a molasses-based rum which brings together seven different individual rums. Its deep mahogany hues hide a brawny, bittersweet flavour which is burnt on the palate and features crème Brulee notes. Raisins, vanilla and hot clove spice come through strongly and it has a real strength of character which helps it stand out and gives it all the characteristics of a quality navy-style rum.

Siren's Call Caribbean Spiced Rum, 75cl

The nose is met with a deep, ester-heavy Jamaican Rum, with fragrant spiced notes of preserved lime, lemongrass, vanilla and ginger. On the palate, ginger is more pronounced but balances harmoniously with caramelised butterscotch ageing of the rum. Bacco and banana coming through in tandem. It ends with spiciness at its heart.

Mega yum! Sipsmith boys came up trumps with this one. super silky mouthfeel with notes of lemon barley water and crushed up breakfast cereal from your schooldays. This is followed by a creamy vanilla moment before more lemon and eventually a brief hard-boiled barley sugar with orange rind. Finish is silky and leaves you with a lovely lemon barley note and a desire for more of the same.

Rinquinquin A La Peche, 75cl

Rinquinquin à la pêche is made using three different types of peach - Cardinale, coronet and June gold. As if this wasn't enough peach for you, they also used the leaves from peach trees, harvests just before autumn. The leaves and peaches are all macerated separately in alcohol and white wine. Afterwards, the liquid is added to the white wine, while the solids leftover is distilled and added to the mix. Perfect for a summer aperitif, rinquinquin à la pêche goes well with tonic water or served long and over ice. The terms rinquinquin was originally a generic word. In the Provencal language, it means invigorating drink (from the verb requinquilhar: to cheer up).

Pipe Dream Bourbon Whiskey is named after the 14th largest tree on the planet. As the first bourbon whiskey coming from Redwood Empire Distillery, Pipe Dream sits at 90 proof and is a blend of barrels aged between 4 and 12 years. It is made from a high corn mashbill.

Redwood Empire is a distillery out of California. Lost Monarch is a blend of bourbon and rye, aged for no less than 3 years. The blend is 60% rye whiskey (95% rye, 5% malted barley which was aged between 3-5 years) and 40% bourbon whiskey (75% corn, 21% raw rye and 4% malted barely that was aged between 5-12 years). Redwood Empire included some of their own distillate in the mix, which is why the age statement is fairly low. This expression is named after the world’s largest coast redwood by volume, standing at 320 feet tall and 26 feet in diameter.

No, there hasn’t been an accident it’s supposed to look like that! the distinctive asymmetrical bottle that r.l. seale’s finest rum is delivered in is just one of its many great perks. Matured in ex-madeira and ex-brandy cases this rum is awash with welcomingly sweet flavours as well as spiced notes. Spicy cooking apples are surrounded by notes of freshly baked pastry, cinnamon and nutmeg leading into a long and satisfying end of toffee apple and oak.

Quiquiriqui Matatlan Mezcal Tequila, 70cl

A single region Joven (young) mezcal from quiquiriqui. This one comes from matatlan, a town with a lowland climate that produces a herbaceous, earthy and vegetal style of mezcal.

Pyrat XO Rum, 70cl

With a bottle design reminiscent of those kept by Captains in the 19th century and instruction from the makers not to even consider mixing it with anything but ice, Pyrat xo is a genuine premium rum. Combining rums aged for as many as fifteen years, Pyrat xo is sweet and viscous on the palate, offering comforting marmalade sweetness. The orange flavour is tempered by sweeter, sugary notes and a medicinal edge reminiscent of cough drops. A truly exceptional rum which should be sipped at leisure.

Pussers Blue Label Rum, 70cl

Blended accordingly to specifications set out by the British admiralty, Pusser's rum is a genuinely classic flavour. Bringing together rums from Barbados, Guyana, Trinidad and Jamaica, Pusser's is a real classic. Treacle, toffee and molasses aromas are released and combine wonderfully with cinnamon-spied oak and ginger. The flavour is strong yet mellow and includes notes of toffee and espresso in addition to those in the nose. The depth of flavour in Pusser's come from the bitter oaky notes which are present throughout.

Punt e Mes, 75cl

Point and a half to the Italians! stewed summer fruits with vanilla pods and manuka honey and burnt lemons. Fat plum and bitter raspberry finish with a slightly tannic feel. Crying out for gin and sweet vermouth!

PUERTO DE INDIAS STRAWBERRY GIN, 70CL

Made with a distillation of natural strawberries from Spain which are macerated in alcohol for at least 48 hours before distillation. Light and sweet, strawberry notes.

PORTOBELLO ROAD NAVY STRENGTH GIN, 50CL

Portobello Gin, 70cl

Named for its place of conception, portobello London dry gin no. 171 is a classic London gin with all the characteristics of a premium product. Floral notes pour out of the bottle on opening with lavender and camphor at the forefront. Parma Violet sweetness follows and on tasting, you’ll get the first hint of juniper. The citrus notes often found in abundance in other gins are subdued but their essence is in the background and it’s a little spicier than your average gin, without being overwhelming. Wonderful for your favourite sling.

There’s raspberry on the nose as the juniper comes through and then a slight spice that develops and lingers. Whilst we’re purposefully different to most gins, but a healthy dose of juniper, in fact twice as much as regular gin, ensures that our gently prevalent raspberry scent is accompanied by that customary dryness.

Pink Pigeon Rum, 70cl

A rare spiced rum with a memorable name, the pink pigeon is not a drink you’ll forget in a hurry. One of Mauritius’ finer offerings, a bird native to isle is where it gets its name. Warming custard notes are released on opening the bottle and they’re soon followed by sweet icing sugar, buttery croissant and even strawberries. On drinking the sweetness remains and vanilla and nutmeg spice also come through, with a fieriness developing as you sip.

Pink Pepper Gin, 70cl

A Pink Pepper Gin from French producers Audemus, situated in the heart of Cognac. Made with hand-picked pink peppercorns and a handful of other tasty botanicals (including honey, vanilla and cardamom - all of which are macerated separately then distilled under low pressure and temperature). You'll find a good juxtaposition between sweet and spicy notes in this one.

Pernod Absinthe, 70cl

The original absinthe, Henri Louis Pernod founded the world’s first absinthe distillery and their modern product still uses many of the methods and ingredients of their original blend. Deceptively milder than its high proof alcohol content, Pernod absinthe is understated and smooth to drink with the notes of aniseed and wormwood present but not overwhelming. Light green in colour has natural herbal aromas and a distinctive touch of lemon, best enjoyed with water and sugar.

Patron Silver Tequila, 70cl

Young and sprightly, Patron Silver is the youngest of their tequilas and its flavour reflects its youth. Clear in colour and rich with fruity aromas, particularly citrus, Patron Silver is refreshing and has a smooth sweetness about it. Soft and light the flavour is peppered with hints of citrus with natural agave taking centre stage. Light peppery notes hit on the finish adding some welcome bite to the endnote.

Patron Reposado Tequila, 70cl

The third of patrons triumvirate of exceptional tequilas, patron reposado has a complex and distinctive flavour profile. Smooth from the first sip, you can taste the smokiness of the oak used in the maturation process and light fresh agave also comes through quickly. As the flavour builds you’ll enjoy notes of citrus and smooth honey, leading to a sweet and short aftertaste of honeyed vanilla and citrus zest.
