Using locally produced sugar cane molasses the traditional pot & column still distillation techniques are still used to this day to produce a light, golden rum full of flavour.
The rum base is an aged Caribbean rum previously used to season empty whisky casks for final maturation.
An extract of Banana Peel is infused into the rum to impart a fruity forward note to the spicy, sweet toffee profile of the Rum. It’s like liquid Banana Bread.
Best served neat over ice, shaken in a Daiquiri or mixed long with Ginger Ale.
On the nose, Discarded Sweet Cascara is deep, rich and aromatic, with an easy, natural warmth. The taste is full and sweet, the indulgent fruity notes merge with the characteristic bitter notes of Vermouth which dominate the clean, lingering finish
Distilled in small batches from sugar cane grown on the Philippines Island of Negros and aged in American Oak for 7 years. This is packed with vanilla flavours and a hint of spice.
A clear, light, premium rum most noted for its versatility and smoothness. A five-column distillation process is used to create Don Q's flagship rum, filtered for purity. A blend of rums aged from 1 and a half to 5 years in American white oak barrels.
