Deep straw colour with pale gold overtones. Very fine persistent bead. The nose has that classic Krug juxtaposition of power and elegance. Very pronounced nose, with complex aromas of yeast autolysis, arrowroot biscuit and hazelnut. The palate displays sublime elegance, with great length and persistence. The biscuit yeast flavours are over-laid by nuances of roast almond and just the faintest hint of grapefruit. Perfect balance, with an exceptionally long aftertaste.
