Made in San Francisco with two-row California barley, cluster hops (the premier hop in 19th-century California) and our own lager yeast, this all-malt brew is krausened and lagered in our cellars. It's golden colour, distinctive aroma, creamy head, balanced depth of flavour and smooth finish make anchor California lager a delicious celebration of California's unique craft brewing heritage
Pale in colour and very refreshing. Expect a large fruit juice aroma with lime, grapefruit and a hint of spiciness. A delicate blend of mango, passion fruit and pineapple flavours, combine with a crisp refreshing body, finishing with a smooth caramel aftertaste.
This dry-hopped pale ale has plenty of pine on the nose with a little sweet malt and honey. Big Drop has carefully formulated a malt bill that doesn't create too much sugar but still provides a good solid body.
Made with Bavarian lager yeast, perle and hallertau tradition hops and a house pilsner malt from Bamberg. (Camden are one of the only two breweries outside Germany to use it) hells lager spends 4 weeks in the tank. This is the proper length of time for lagering, the right amount of time for our hells to aquire great depth of flavour.
Unfiltered pale ale is smashed with a blend of the juiciest hops then inoculated with a proprietary yeast strain from White Labs. After 2 doses of dry-hopping, we condition at 0°C for the next 21 days to leave a beer that's bright without filters or finings. The result is a beer that's full of flavour and crisp with around bitterness.
